... what an amazing event to shoot - all to support the Theatre lab School of the Dramatic Arts in Washington, DC. Deb Gottesman and Buzz Mauro ran one hell of a show. The event raised much needed funds for their programs and was attended by Janet Langhart Cohen and former US Senator and past Secretary of Defense William Cohen (a former boss of mine).

It was a busy busy night with horrid spots that were hard to correct for without gels (which i forgot). Shot the entire event with the 16-35 2.8L and a 580EX II with stofen on the hotshoe. I should have changed lenses a couple of times but was too busy. I really need much more practice with manual flash... ETTL was not kind to me. Many of the crowd/event shots were undesirable, even at 2.8. Still... a great learning opportunity.
