American Odyssey Relay (H4W)

Shots from the American Odyssey Relay run by the Team Hope For The Warriors. Ten athletes, two vans and 36 hours to run the 200 miles from Gettysburg, PA to Washington, DC.

The team, which raised over $7K, consisted of wounded service members, active and former military personnel, Hope For The Warriors staff and volunteers from the FDNY. With a crew like that, deprived of sleep, much comedy ensued.  Their incredible display of athleticism was humbling... and inspiring.

Hope For The Warriors is a national nonprofit organization that supports wounded US Service members, their families and families of the fallen. Read more about their mission at:

All images were shot with the Canon 5DmkII, the 24-105mm f2.8L IS, the 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM and the 50mm f18 lenses.
