... Cool cover Rock Band that played at Crystal City Tavern on 30 Dec 08 in Crystal City, MO. Most of the band hails from Saint Genevieve, MO. Great energy and sound - I would love to shoot them again in colour when i am next in town. Their website is at www.myspace.com/exposedrocks.
I was in a real B&W mood. Playing with some fun zoom and long shutter with a center focus point. Just trying to catch a particular look and ended up with more portraiture than i realized. This is why i love to shoot a band at random.
This was all at 6400 ISO at f4 and smaller with the kit 24-105 L IS on the 5DmkII. The ISO on the new 5D is amazing and the IS really helped as well. Should have used the 2.8... but not bad for no flash at f4.
