... A punk / klezmer band from NYC that played at Artomatic. They are kinda Jewish, kinda East European. Edgy music with rockin' real instruments and a funny gypsy looking guy who jumps around on stage. Foreign language lyrics never sounded so good. They really did rock!
Terrible lighting (no lighting) on stage made the Caberet Room at Artomatic a very bad place to play with a camera.
... Goodbye Carly! Have an amazing time in California. You will be missed, of this i am sure. Your friends love you and you will always have us here in DC!
... okay, here are some in colour. My Tombstone excursion even included a side trip to Naco, AZ where the state borders Mexico. They had a bar there from the 1930's, back when 'gay' meant something else i suspect... or did it? AZ has a nice state flag in my opinion.
... inexplicably, i found myself in Tombstone, AZ of all places, for a couple of days. Kind of tourist trap-y. I refused to pay money to see the area where the gunfight at the OK Corral happened but i did get to see the courthouse gallows. I wanted more time to play with the camera but i was with a work colleague which kind of damped my creative time. I need to see these kinds of places by myself when i have a camera.
